My Review

Here is a link to my review of the first book in the series: If She Dies and here is a link to my review of the second book in the series: If She Wakes.

I cannot believe this trilogy is over. I am very sad to say goodbye to these characters but the main character, Tess, has been through so much. This instalment was very gripping and the whole series are definitely a page turners. The plot continues throughout the series and it is very entertaining, they make you feel so many emotions while reading it.

Firstly in the book I loved how the author included a summary of what happened in the previous two books but the summary was written into the plot of this book which was nice rather than the summary just being paragraphs of information. When it was written this way, it reminded me how it made the character feel at this time so I could remember the emotions I felt as well. Also the way it is written, it ties in all the other books and begins to set the scene of this book.

This plot is so good and I liked how the author built up the suspense and created a scary atmosphere. I was literally sitting on the edge of my seat when I got to certain parts of the book. The book is so action packed and the whole series was planned out very well! There were also many plot twists in this book, some characters from previous books are in this one but I wasn’t sure how much to trust them and I had the same thoughts about some of the new characters this author brought into this book. There was a lot of deceit from some characters so it was difficult to guess who was telling the truth. It was satisfying when the truth finally got revealed at the end, I didn’t guess the ending but I was very happy with the ending.

Overall, I thought this was such a good wrap up of the trilogy and I am sad to see these amazing characters, especially Tess, go. I definitely want to pick up some of this authors other books as I really enjoyed the suspense and the plot of this series. I feel like I read this book so quickly, I felt like that with the rest of the series as well. It is a good binge series to read because of how gripping it is. I highly recommend picking up this series if you haven’t already. Thank you yo Erik for sending me a copy of this book! Check it out on amazon and Goodreads
