My Review

This was another amazing collection of short stories. I do love being able to read these magical but strange stories. It is great to delve into more magical worlds and read about new characters.

All the short stories were so fun to read about, my favourites were Maps, Missing Persons and Arnold’s Melting Foot. However, they are all great stories. The stories are so unique and quirky. They do jump around genres so it is hard to categorise this book as a whole. I enjoy a shift in genres because it gives the stories dynamic.

I can always tell when I am reading a story from Mike Russell because he has such a unique way of writing. The story telling from the author is very gripping and entertaining. When I come round to reading a book by Mike Russell, I am excited about what I am going to read because I have loved his other books I have read. This short story collection did not let me down. I always wonder what the author will come up with next in his stories.

Thank you to Strange Books and Mike Russell for sending me a copy of this book. I highly recommend this author! Check out this book on amazon and goodreads.
